‘BANK’ of Elan boost for South Liverpool buyers

CASH from the ‘bank’ of mum and dad is helping increasing numbers of purchasers onto the property ladder, but South Liverpool buyers could boost their finances thanks to Elan Homes.

Half of the homes at Aigburth Grange have now been sold and to celebrate, the niche developer is offering a gifted contribution towards the deposit on selected properties at the popular development.

The move-making offer could make a significant difference for those trying to save enough cash to secure a home of their own.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, explains: “A record number of buyers now receive help from their parents when setting up home with the so-called ‘bank’ of mum and dad now ranked among the biggest lenders. We recognise that not all buyers are in the fortunate position to have their families boost their finances and even then they may find it difficult to raise the level of deposit some mortgage lenders require. That’s why we’re offering to gift customers up to £5,000 towards the deposit on a three-bedroom Glossop style property at Aigburth Grange.”

Priced from £244,995, the Glossop offers 940 sq ft of living space and is an ideal first home.

It features a spacious combined lounge/ diner with direct access to the rear garden via French doors. The kitchen is at the front of the property, with a cloakroom plus large storage cupboard completing the ground floor.

“The layout of the Glossop lends itself perfectly to first time buyers, including those thinking about starting a family or who already have young children,” Marie adds.

“The kitchen features integrated appliances, while the bathroom is sleek and stylish. Two of the bedrooms are generously proportioned for the size of the property and the third would make an ideal study or nursery.”

Location has undoubtedly played a part in the popularity of the homes at Aigburth Grange. There’s easy access to the city centre, which is just three miles away; the green open spaces of Sefton Park are close by, as are the cafes, restaurants and shops on Lark Lane and a choice of good schools.

Aigburth Grange is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For more information see or call 0845 250 8677.
