Exchange of Contracts is required to take place within 28 days from the date of Reservation.  This is when two identical documents, one signed by Elan Homes and one by yourself pass between both sets of solicitors.

“At this stage your Solicitor will ask you to sign the contract and arrange payment of the balance of the deposit.”

Exchange of Contracts constitutes an agreement that is legally binding on both parties to complete the sale and purchase of your new home.

Once contracts have been exchanged, you should ensure that all the necessary arrangements are in place for your move to your new home, so that everything runs smoothly on completion.

Our Sales Executive will keep you informed on a weekly basis on the progression of your new home. The process of Legal Completion will begin once the construction of your new home has been completed and passed by the NHBC Inspector ready for your occupation.
