Handover
Our Sales Executive will inform you when Legal Completion has taken place. The Sales Executive and Site Manager will then make arrangements to meet you at your new home to carry out the handover process.
The Handover Meeting is arranged to ensure that you fully understand Elan Homes obligations in respect of the various warranties on your property and its fixtures and fittings and to read the utility meters. If not already covered in the earlier demonstration, the use of the various fitted appliances will be explained and an inspection made for any outstanding defects before the keys to the property and a comprehensive Homeowner’s Manual are finally handed over. You will be asked to sign a Handover Form confirming these details, a copy of which will be forwarded to our Customer Care Department.
Once handover is complete, we shall confirm the change of ownership of the property to the Local Authority and utility companies.
