Once the work on your new home is finished, a formal notice will be served on your solicitor and legal completion takes place within the period specified.

This notice marks the start of the ten-day Notice Period during which Legal Completion must take place. An NHBC inspection will be carried out during this period to ensure that your home conforms to NHBC Standards.

Customer Demonstration

After Notice to Complete has been served, and before Legal Completion takes place, we will invite you to a demonstration of your new home. This is an important process which will take between one and two hours. A member of both the Sales Team and Construction Team of Elan Homes will accompany you. They will demonstrate your new home, pointing out its key features and explaining how everything operates. This also provides the opportunity for you to ask for any other information you require about your new home and the development.

Legal Completion takes place when the final balancing payment passes to our Solicitor and the Title Deeds to the property pass to yours.
