Elan strengthens its sales team

CHESHIRE based Elan Homes has appointed Gill Dale as field sales manager to help support its growing Northern business.

Gill has more than 20 years’ experience and will support sales teams across the North West including those in Liverpool, Stockport, Macclesfield, Neston, Congleton and Chester.

The niche developer also has several new sites coming soon and is keen to acquire additional land to enable the continued growth of the business.

“I’ve joined Elan at an exciting time for the business with new sites recently launched in Macclesfield, Neston and Congleton and others in the pipeline. It’s a great opportunity to use my experience to help support the sales teams and Elan’s continued growth,” Gill says.

“Elan is well placed to help bridge the gap between housing supply and buyer demand. My role will be to ensure that customers continue to have a positive buying experience as we increase the number of locations we’re building at and the number homes we sell.”

Gill has worked in new homes sales since 1994. She started off selling apartments in Liverpool and has worked on regeneration schemes and exclusive developments across the North West, including Cheshire, which is Elan’s core market.

“I have amassed a wide and varied range of experience in that time working with large PLCs and small businesses. I was with Barratt for 11 years and more recently at Archway Homes, a small family business,” Gill adds.

“Because I’ve worked in the industry for so long and seen how different companies operate and encountered different market conditions I will have experienced the situations that the sales executives are dealing with. It means I will be able to support the team, talk them through any issues.”

Gill is a mother of two, originally from Liverpool, but now living in Cheshire with her partner.

“Personally I’ve bought and sold seven homes, but I couldn’t count how many I’ve sold while working in the industry,” Gill laughs. “My first home was a new build and I eventually ended up working with the person who sold it me.”

Elan, with its northern headquarters in Ellesmere Port, recently welcomed two new sales executives Mel Sherratt and Ken Murray; while Collette Lord has returned to work for the company.
