Homes with a view prove popular in Gorseinon
WITH the first phase a sell out and over half of the homes now sold on the whole development, Parc Gwyn Faen has been given the seal of approval by Swansea homebuyers.
Elan’s sales director Andrea Nippe believes the popularity is largely due to the picturesque surroundings, with many of the homes enjoying striking views across the Loughor estuary yet located within easy reach of Swansea.

She said: “I believe the location has a lot to do with the success of the development. It’s perfect for people who work in Swansea, or want to be close to its vibrant shops, bars and restaurants, but also for those who want to feel like their home is a retreat from the hustle and bustle.
“The views over the River Loughor are just stunning. It’s also on the doorstep of the magnificent Gower Peninsula, while being just two miles from the M4, so it’s very accessible. The homes have proved popular with families, first time buyers and downsizers thanks to the mix of properties available.”
Sales at Parc Gwyn Faen, on Brynafon Road, were buoyed in January when the Welsh Government launched its highly anticipated Help to Buy Wales equity loan scheme, which is enabling homebuyers to purchase with just a 5% deposit.
Andrea added: “Mortgage availability is still an issue for many people. Even if they can easily afford the repayments they may not have the large deposit required by many lenders. Now, with the assistance of Help to Buy – Wales, homebuyers can purchase a home up to the value of £300,000 with just a 5% deposit. The remaining amount is covered by up to a 20% equity loan from the Welsh Government, which is interest free for five years, and a 75% mortgage from their chosen lender.”
Parc Gwyn Faen will eventually feature a total of 30 three and four-bedroom homes forming a brand new community.
The four-bedroom ‘Belvoir’ show home is now open for customers to view the high specification close up.
