Lego fun for all the family in North Devon
LEGO lovers from ages five to 105 are invited to come along to a family fun day on Saturday, July 30 in South Molton where they can show off their ‘house building’ skills.
Jointly hosted by house builder Elan and the South Molton Library Services’ Lego Club, the family event at Elan’s The Gateway development will run from 10am to 12pm, is free to attend and refreshments will be served.
After stepping inside the stunning Belvoir show home at Elan’s development, families will be able to build to their hearts content and create their own homes out of Lego. Elan will provide mini boxes of new Lego to each child who attends and the ‘winning’ Lego house will be placed on display in Elan’s Marketing Suite.
Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “We’re inviting mums, dads, grandparents and kids to come along and build their ideal mini new home out of Lego. The event is also a chance for families to view our ‘life size’ Belvoir show home and experience what life at Elan @ The Gateway would be like.”
The Lego family fun day is part of Elan’s ‘summer of events’ at The Gateway which also includes:
11th August, 5pm – 7pm: Part Exchange evening with a local estate agent on hand to do valuations
27/28 August: Help to Buy weekend with an independent financial advisor in attendance.
Elan Homes is creating a new community of 150 brand new two, three and four-bedroom properties at Elan @ The Gateway, with some boasting stunning views across the open field towards Exmoor.
Elan @ The Gateway will offer a fantastic lifestyle to residents, with access to footpaths and woodland close by as well as an excellent range of schools, shops, cafés and leisure facilities on its doorstep.
Phase two is now underway at the 20-acre development, which is located between Parsonage Lane and Station Road on the northern side of the town.
