New Cheltenham Homes to make market debut

THOSE hoping to be first in the queue to buy one of 12 brand new homes in Cheltenham are invited to the launch event on February 6 / 7.

Just half a mile from the town centre, St George’s Mews features a new but traditional collection of exclusive properties being built by Clevedon-based housebuilder Elan Homes.

A sales office will open at 10am on Saturday, February 6 and interested purchasers are advised to call 01275 337250 and make an appointment to speak to the sales team on the day.

The venture will provide a mix of three and four-bedroom townhouses and three -bedroom two-storey homes, most with garages and ranging from 900sq ft to 1,400 sq ft. It will transform part of the former Spriax Sacro base on St George’s Road, also well-known for once housing Edward Jenner’s clinic.

Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “We’re very excited to be launching our new St George’s Mews development and have already received strong interest in our exclusive selection of homes.

“Last year, Cheltenham was named as one of four “New Prime Urban Markets” in a report by Knight Frank*, as buyers opted to move from London to more family-friendly towns and cities. The Daily Telegraph also named it as the number one place in the UK to raise a family.

“Cheltenham has so much to offer in terms of culture, history, sport and excellent schools so it’s easy to see why it’s so sought after. Our new development is in a great location for families adjacent to a primary school last rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ and conveniently close to a Waitrose supermarket.”

While appearing traditional from the outside, designed to reflect the architectural character of Cheltenham, inside the well-specified modern homes boast fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms and brand name appliances. Being brand new, they are designed to be more energy efficient and easier to maintain than their older counterparts on the second hand market.

Prices will be released at the launch event.
