New homes in Neston bring investment
WITH construction of new homes in Neston due to start imminently, Elan Homes has pledged to invest in the local area.
The niche developer, with its Northern headquarters at Ellesmere Port, secured planning permission at appeal to build 33 homes off Boundary Park, Parkgate, Neston.
As part of the scheme around £150,000 will be invested in the community.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “This autumn will see works get underway on our latest development in Neston, where we’ll be building a mixture of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties. As part of our commitment to supporting the neighbourhoods in which we operate, a quarter of the properties will be affordable homes, plus we’ll be investing around £120,000 in affordable housing in the local area.”
The new homes will enjoy a leafy setting in an established residential area, with many mature trees retained and a central area of on-site public open space provided as part of the development. Elan will also gift around £30,000 towards off-site open space.
“There will be 25 properties for private sale and while they won’t be released onto the market until spring 2016 we’ve already started collating a database of prospective purchasers,” Marie adds.
“By signing up now, would-be homeowners will be kept informed of our progress and when the homes are available to reserve they’ll be given first refusal.”
