New Somerton Homes will be a real draw for creatives
THE first images of the new homes development coming soon to Somerton’s Artistic Quarter have been revealed.
Known as Pippards Court, building work at the select private development of just seven stylish townhouses on Pesters Lane at the heart of the market town’s new ‘quarter’ is now underway by Elan Homes, the Clevedon-based premier housebuilder.
It’s anticipated the first homes will be released for sale in August and Elan is already building up a waiting list of interested home buyers keen to be among the first to hear about the sales launch.
Catherine Marshall, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “Pippards Court will comprise seven, spacious two-bedroom townhouses which will each have their own garage and garden. The three-storey homes promise to bring something new to the town centre and are part of a wider redevelopment here in Somerton to create a mixed-use area where people can live, work and play.
“We’re pleased to be collaborating on this project with The Stepping Stone Group and Arts Care Education (ACE), which is set to reinvigorate this area of the town centre.”
Elan has developed a superb reputation among homebuyers in Somerset for creating top quality new developments in highly-desirable parts of the county, including Steinbeck Walk in Bruton, where there is just one family home remaining, and Kingsbury Gardens in Milborne Port.
