Elan Homes wasted no time in getting things moving. Its Dudley development, now known as St James Court, is already up and running with a new show home and marketing suite, and a steady flow of potential homebuyers visiting the site since it opened late in September.

“Elan Homes’ acquisition of these developments has been a welcome deal, especially at St James Court, for those who had purchased homes from David Payne before the company ceased trading”, says Stephen Cleveley, sales director for Elan Homes. “They were left pretty much on a part-complete building site, but now that Elan Homes has acquired the site, the development is really starting to take shape. Sales are going through, and more and more visitors are coming along to see what the site has to offer. All three sites are really popular and they have definitely benefited from this injection of life from Elan Homes.”

Woodlands View in Rubery is due to launch in Spring 2010 and Oaklands in Wombourne will be on site towards the end 2010. Elan Homes has also acquired an additional former David Payne site in Malvern, called Barnards Meadow, on which all plots are now sold.
