Raise Monet with a cuppa at Cheltenham Development
VISITORS to a new development in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, can help raise money for charity by donating the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan.
The ‘Big Coffee Morning’ will take place at St George’s Mews, with housebuilder Elan laying on tea, coffee and cakes between 10.30am and 1pm on Friday, September 30.
Those who can’t make Friday’s coffee morning can still enjoy refreshments and sweet treats over the weekend and make their donation at the development.
Elan is creating a new community at St George’s Mews and whether visitors live locally, or are just visiting to view the new homes, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
People across the country are hosting coffee mornings for Macmillan, an annual event now in its 26th year. Since 1990, the events have raised over £138 million for the cancer charity and last year alone raised £25million.
Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South explains: “The coffee mornings are fantastic events that everyone can get involved with. We are in the business of building new communities and what better way to play our part than to get involved to raise money for such a wonderful cause.”
