Raise money with a cuppa at Worcestershire developments
VISITORS to two Worcestershire developments can help raise money for charity by donating the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan.
The two ‘Big Coffee Mornings’ will take place at Merrybrook Grange, in Evesham, and Derrington Mews, in Kempsey, near Worcester, with housebuilder Elan laying on tea, coffee and cakes between 10am and1pm on Friday, September 25.
Those who can’t make Friday’s coffee mornings can still enjoy refreshments and sweet treats over the weekend and make their donation at both developments.
Elan is creating two new communities and whether visitors live locally, or are just visiting to view the new homes, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
People across the country are hosting coffee mornings for Macmillan, an annual event now in its 25th year. Since 1990, the events have raised over £138 million for the cancer charity.
Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South explains: “The coffee mornings are fantastic events that everyone can get involved with. We are in the business of building new communities and what better way to play our part than to get involved to raise money for such a wonderful cause.”
Visit Merrybrook Grange, off Pershore Road, Evesham, or Derrington Mews, off Main Road, Kempsey, on Friday, September 25 from 10am to 12pm.
