MARVELLOUS views, stunning architecture, an excellent range of schools and even A-list actors spotted shopping in Waitrose… Malvern has it all, according to the Sunday Times.

The spa town has been named as one of the top 101 best places to live in Britain and homebuyers could unlock the door to an ultimate Worcestershire lifestyle with a home at Elan’s Blenheim Grange venture.

With an exclusive address, off Hayslan Road, Malvern, the impressive Blenheim Grange development boasts picturesque views of nearby rolling hills. The location will eventually feature just 12 two, three and four bedroom homes and bungalows once it is officially opened in the coming months.

Listing Malvern as one of the best Midlands areas in the Sunday Times’ special feature, it reads: “Malvern is a great town with killer views and elegant 19th century architecture. If you like sunsets, live on the west side of the hills – for sunrises, live on the east. Malvern College and Malvern St James are both top independent schools, and for state secondary there is the Chase School.”

It also explores some of Malvern’s hidden secrets and gems, “Great Malvern residents are deemed fit if they can walk up steep Church Street, literally the ‘high’ street. The town has an impressive modern theatre, used as a warm-up venue for the West End, and locals often spot A-list actors in Waitrose.”

Blenheim Grange is due to be officially unveiled in spring, but keen homebuyers have been acting quickly to snap up the properties early, with six out of 12 already sold ‘off plan’.

Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes’ Southern region, said: “It comes as no surprise that Malvern has been listed as one of the best places to live in Britain as it is a truly outstanding town. The pleasant setting of Blenheim Grange and the high quality of the homes offers a winning formula for homebuyers in Malvern looking for that idyllic lifestyle.

“The development is already selling well and we haven’t even opened a show home yet. With half of the homes already reserved it shows just how strong the interest is in the location. We expect the popularity of Blenheim Grange will only increase as the development takes shape.

“Many people are now recognising the advantages of reserving early and buying off-plan. Purchasing a home this way means that buyers can customise the property to their own tastes by choosing all those important finishing touches from our range if interior options for kitchens, bathrooms, fixtures and fittings. Early investors can also choose the best plots with the most desirable positions at the best price.”

In the nearby town of Great Malvern, a range of amenities are also available, including Waitrose and Somerfield supermarkets, plus a theatre and cinema complex and a Splash leisure pool and gymnasium.

The mainline railway station at Great Malvern provides links to Worcester, Birmingham, London (Paddington), Hereford and South Wales.

Having earned a reputation for delivering high standards of customer service, with homes designed by leading architects, Elan already has had two successful ventures in Fernhill Heath and Welland, which have both sold extremely well.
