AS Elan Homes prepares to mark a decade in business, the niche developer is keen to acquire additional land in Liverpool and across the North West as it continues to grow.

Founded in 2008, Elan has grown to become a leading homebuilder and directly employs more than 80 people. With an experienced team at the helm, Elan has quickly established a solid and well-founded reputation for building homes that combine the highest quality interiors with attractive designs.

Elan’s Northern business is based in Ellesmere Port and covers the North West, including Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester, plus North Wales and is constantly looking to acquire new sites.

In recent months Elan has achieved sell-out success at Cherry Tree Park in Stockport and Sycamore Gardens in Congleton and launched new developments at Hope Park Mews in Macclesfield and Old Quay Meadows in Parkgate and Neston. Properties at Canalside in Middlewich can be reserved off plan and homes will soon be available to purchase at The Hawthorns, Lach Dennis; The Larches, Wilmslow and Argoed Gardens in Argoed. The company also has plans to build apartments, townhouses and luxury family homes on the former Dale Hall site in Mossley Hill, South Liverpool; while Aigburth Grange in South Liverpool and Westminster Place near Chester remain popular with buyers.

“When we’re assessing the potential of a piece of land we will use our industry experience and knowledge of the local housing market, taking into consideration who would want to live there and why, the type of home they would want to live in and the architecture of the homes already in that neighbourhood. We’ll then work with the landowner and local authority to progress the scheme through the planning process.”
