Stamp Duty changes mean the majority of new Elan homes in England are tax-free from now until March 31, 2021, potentially saving buyers thousands of pounds when buying a home priced up to £500,000.

The Stamp Duty holiday announced by the Government is designed to help get people moving and we’ve seen an increase in enquiries following the switch.

First time buyers purchasing a property priced up to £300,000 were already exempt from paying the tax, but the Government predicts the change will effect nine out of 10 home buyers.

Save time, save money

With the potential to save thousands of pounds thanks to the tax break, it could mean you’re able to buy your dream home sooner than you anticipated.

Find the room you need

Space inside and out, is something many people are prioritising in life after lockdown. The increase in home working may mean you want a home with a dedicated study. Or perhaps it’s time for children who’ve been sharing a room to have space of their own.

Subject to build stage, we offer a range of options that enable you to create your dream home even before you move in. At Elan we take pride in offering a superb standard specification, with items others call upgrades but with the saving you might want to choose a different kitchen finish, add silestone worktops or select a premium tile.

Take a break

Many people have cancelled holidays this year, so once you’ve packed up and moved into your new Elan home you might want to consider planning a break for next year using the money saved thanks to the Stamp Duty holiday.
