SALES SUCCESS FOR NEW HOMES IN SOUTHPORT

STRONG early sales and a database of around 300 potential purchasers points to high demand for the latest new homes development in Southport.

Hot on the heels of sell-out success at nearby Freshfields, Formby, Elan Homes has just launched Balmoral Gardens in Southport, where a former factory site is being transformed into a desirable new neighbourhood.

Featuring a variety of properties ranging from two-bedroom starter homes to substantial four-bedroom detached family sized homes, including some properties built to Lifetime Homes Standards so that they’re easily adaptable for people’s changing needs, the development has broad appeal.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Local people have been keen to see this piece of land brought back into good use. Work on the homes is progressing well and we’re planning to open show homes in the coming months. The fact that a number of buyers have already reserved off plan, at the earliest opportunity, is testament to Elan’s reputation. We’re working with other potential purchasers and receiving dozens of enquiries each week from people wanting to know more about the homes, the first of which will be ready to move into in late summer.”

Balmoral Gardens will eventually feature 157 homes, plus a large area of open space for residents to enjoy.

Two, three and four-bedroom homes are currently available, with prices from £179,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Beeston.

Help to Buy equity loans are available to first time buyers on eligible properties, including the Beeston. Using the Government-backed scheme, buyers could find they only need a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is then covered by an equity loan, which is interest free fort five years.

Homeowners could find they’re able to save money on running costs, while also helping save the planet. Properties at Balmoral Gardens will feature energy efficient heating systems, plus there will be an electric vehicle charging point for every home, helping residents lead more sustainable lifestyles.

“Choice is what sets new build homes apart from older properties. Instead of having to make do with the previous owners’ décor and adapting it to your tastes over time, you start with a blank canvas,” Marie explained.

“Our homes feature a high specification with plenty of opportunities for customers to make their home their own by choosing from a rage of standard options and upgrades. These include the kitchen finish, bathroom tiles, wardrobes and flooring.”

Located on Balmoral Drive, within a residential urban area, on the border with Crossens and Churchtown, homes at Balmoral Gardens are being built around four miles from the amenities of Southport and five miles from the beach.
