NEW BUILD HOMES IN GOOSNARGH NOW ON SALE

ELAN Homes has launched its third new homes development in Lancashire.

The homebuilder has joined the roster of companies redeveloping the former Whittingham Hospital site in the village of Goosnargh to provide hundreds of new homes.

For its part, Elan is building 21 homes across a 3.35 acre site along Henry Littler Way.

Known as Whittingham Fold, the development has just launched off plan, with show homes coming soon.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Whittingham Fold is an important site for Elan. While it’s our third new homes development to launch in Lancashire, it’s the first to feature our own designs. We’re excited to be helping to transform this key site into a desirable new neighbourhood featuring high quality family-sized homes to address local needs. Due to demand we’ve released the first few properties for sale off plan and have started guiding potential purchasers through the floor plans.”

The initial release includes a three-bedroom detached Marford style property, priced from £294,995, and a four-bedroom detached Kenilworth Special, priced from £399,995.

Many of the properties at Whittingham Fold will be built to Life Time Homes standards, meaning they will be easy to adapt to occupiers’ changing needs.

“With the rising cost of living, people are looking to make savings and recognise that moving to a new build home can help reduce their energy bills thanks to improved efficiency compared with older properties,” Marie added.
