ELAN is hosting a special event to enable prospective buyers to find out more about its luxurious Pippard’s Court development in Somerton.

‘New Year, New Home’ is the theme of the event taking place at George James estate agents, West Street, Somerton, on Saturday, January 13, from 10am to 5pm.

A friendly team from experienced developer Elan, along with knowledgeable estate agents, will be present to offer assistance on valuations, as well as to give more information about Part Exchange or Elan’s EasyMove initiative – which both provide support for a simultaneous purchase and sale.

Pippard’s Court, situated in Somerton’s new ‘Artistic Quarter’, contains a stylish and spacious range of townhouses – varying from 1,572 sq ft to 2,077 sq ft. The properties have been specially designed to provide expansive living space, catering for people’s whose children may have flown the nest or those simply looking for more manageable space.

Catherine Marshall, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “New Year provides the perfect opportunity to begin looking at new homes and we’re looking forward to our forthcoming informative event, welcoming people interested in Pippard’s Court.

“There is a real buzz around this development – which we know will particularly appeal to those looking to ‘rightsize’ not downsize – and we’re also excited to be part of the burgeoning Artistic Quarter.”

Pippard’s Court forms part of a wider mixed-use development along Pesters Lane, which also involves The Stepping Stone Group and Arts Care Education (ACE), to create a new Artistic Quarter where people can live, work and play.

Each of the seven exquisite homes at Pippard’s Court will boast its own garage and private enclosed garden, while the traditional architecture and stone features will blend beautifully with the existing homes in the locality.

For those with an existing house to sell, Elan offers a Part Exchange scheme through which the house builder could buy a purchaser’s existing home to free up the funds to purchase a brand new Elan property. Subject to suitability, Elan will arrange for two estate agents valuations on the current property within seven days.

Alternatively, Elan’s EasyMove could be the best option for them – and help save money on estate agents’ fees. With EasyMove, Elan will help to arrange to market the current property and, when an offer is received which is acceptable, would-be purchasers can then reserve an Elan home.

Clevedon based Elan has developed a superb reputation among homebuyers in Somerset for creating top quality new developments in highly-desirable parts of the county, including Steinbeck Walk in Bruton and Kingsbury Gardens in Milborne Port.

Prices are from £385,000 for ‘The Croscombe’ house type to £430,000 for ‘The Meare’.
