Final Somerset homes snapped up leaving door open for a new development
ELAN Homes is celebrating a sell-out success at its charming development in Milborne Port, Somerset.
Located off Wheathill Lane, surrounded by rolling countryside, Kingsbury Gardens boasts a stunning collection of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, all of which have now been sold.
However, homebuyers who were disappointed at missing out, will be pleased to know Elan is planning a summer launch for a development in nearby Bruton.
Situated on the edge of the village, Steinbeck Walk will feature just eight four-bedroom detached homes and one two-bedroom coach house apartment.
The name of the development was inspired by John Steinbeck who, near the end of his life, described the six months he spent in Bruton in 1959 as the happiest of his life. “Time loses all its meaning,” he wrote. “The peace I have dreamed about is here. It was a fortunate accident which drew me to this place.”
Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “We’re delighted to have welcomed so many happy homeowners to Kingsbury Gardens. It’s no surprise the development has been so popular given the variety of high specification homes on offer, the stunning village location and wealth of shops and amenities nearby.
“But as one door closes, another will soon be opening for Somerset homebuyers as we are looking forward to launching Steinbeck Walk in the summer.
“With our headquarters in Clevedon, we have a well-established reputation in Somerset, and are committed to building more high quality homes in the county to meet strong demand. Our focus is very much on designing homes perfect for modern family life, that combine traditional exteriors with bright, carefully laid out, modern interiors.”
