Show home inspiration for Macclesfield buyers
THE opening of a new show home on July 15 will mark the latest chapter in the redevelopment of what was once part of Macclesfield Hospital.
Elan Homes has already secured four ‘off plan’ sales of new homes at Hope Park Mews. The niche developer is confident of building on that success once customers have seen inside the new three-bedroom Wyre style show home.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “Macclesfield is undergoing a major investment programme, helping to make this already popular Cheshire town a sought-after place to live. The Grosvenor shopping centre is undergoing a major £11 million revamp, there are plans for a £15 million cinema and proposals for a major housing and retail scheme with primary school at South Macclesfield Development Area.
“People have already witnessed parts of the hospital site being given a new lease of life with the creation of apartments and offices and they can’t wait to see what our Hope Park Mews development will bring. We’ll be inviting those who’ve expressed an interest to have an exclusive first look inside the show home before we open to the public on Saturday, July 15.”
Hope Park Mews offers three and four-bedroom homes in a choice of styles, with current prices from £279,995.
The Wyre show home is an attractive three bedroom semi-detached property offering well-planned accommodation throughout including lounge with feature bay window to the front; spacious open plan kitchen and dining room, plus convenient cloakroom.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, including master with en-suite, plus the family bathroom.
Hope Park Mews features just 29 private sale homes, ideally situated within walking distance of Macclesfield town centre. Local facilities include a nursery and supermarket, plus homeowners will be able to walk through the public open space forming part of the development and cross the road to nearby West Park.
Along with building new homes, including five affordable properties, Elan will invest around £51,000 towards an off-site children’s play area and gift more than £27,000 to recreation and outdoor sports provision.
A contribution towards highways works has already been made by the developer
