HOMEBUYERS in Macclesfield are being urged to think bigger when it comes to choosing a brand new home.
Niche developer Elan Homes is experiencing high demand for three-bedroom properties at its Hope Park Mews development, with an ever-growing list of people enquiring about homes of that size.
The homebuilder is encouraging buyers not to wait, but to consider using Help to Buy to step onto the housing ladder and perhaps even miss a rung by purchasing a larger property than they expected.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “Hundreds of thousands of people have used Help to Buy over the last five years, but there are still those who either aren’t familiar with the scheme or what it means for them.
“For example, lots of the enquiries we’ve received at Hope Park Mews are from people who think they can only afford a three-bedroom home and that they will have to wait for that size property to become available. The reality is that with Help to Buy they may find that they’re able to buy a four-bedroom home and move much sooner. The friendly sales team at Hope Park Mews are happy to help match buyers with properties that meet both their current and future housing needs. They can also put customers in touch with new homes mortgage specialists and Help to Buy agents to make moving as simple as possible.”
Current availability at Hope Park Mews includes a four-bedroom semi-detached Avon style property, priced from £274,995.
Help to Buy gives buyers the chance to reduce the initial cost of a brand new home with the offer of an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price. Crucially, the equity loan is interest free for five years.
Those who take out the full equity loan should only need a relatively small deposit of around 5%, plus a 75% mortgage from their chosen lender.
The Avon brings traditional townhouse style living right up to date and to demonstrate the versatility and spaciousness of this layout, Elan has opened an Avon show home for viewing.
On the ground floor, there’s a well equipped kitchen to the front, with combined lounge and dining room to the rear, plus a convenient cloakroom.
On the first floor are three bedrooms, plus the family bathroom. The piece de resistance is the top floor master bedroom with en suite.
Located on Victoria Road, the properties are perfectly placed. The amenities of Macclesfield town centre are within walking distance; while the Peak District National Park and Manchester city centre are both easily accessible
The show home at Hope Park Mews is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For details, see our latest developments or call 0845 250 8676.
