AN eagerly awaited show home in Tamworth is opening soon.
More than 400 people registered interest in properties being built by Elan Homes on a 2.5 acre parcel of land on Dosthill Road.
Known as Dosthill Gate, the development offers a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
They’ve initially been sold “off plan” with the show home opening from Friday, September 22.
Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball said: “Due to the volume of enquiries received we released a small number of new homes in Tamworth for sale off plan. These were two and three-bedroom properties, perfect for first time buyers and downsizers. Some buyers have been eager to reserve at the earliest opportunity, but we also have people who want to be able to visit Dosthill Gate to explore the area and view a finished example of the homes we’re building.
“We’re now gearing up to open the show home. It’s been professionally styled and fully furnished to give the impression of a real home, so families can imagine themselves living there. Viewing this showcase property, along with the site plan and individual property floor plans, will help buyers make an informed decision when buying a new home.”
Elan’s show home at Dosthill Gate is a four-bedroom detached Woodhall – a generously proportioned, double fronted family home. Accessed via an elegant, canopied porch, it offers 1,350 sq ft of carefully considered living space.
The open plan kitchen, dining and family room spans the width of the property and is destined to become the heart of the home. French doors open out from this sociable space onto the garden.
There’s a separate lounge at the front for quieter relaxation, plus a study, ideal for working from home. A practical utility to keep the washer and dryer out of the kitchen, and a convenient cloakroom complete the ground floor.
Upstairs, all four bedrooms are a good size. The main bedroom benefits from an en-suite to complement the family bathroom.
“The Woodhall is the largest home we’re building at Dosthill Gate. But whether you’re looking for your first home, are ready to downsize or want more space for your growing family, if you buy an Elan home you can be assured it will be finished to our exacting standards,” Tracey added.
Current prices at Dosthill Gate range from £260,000 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Malham to £400,000 for a four-bedroom detached Malvern.
Future releases will include detached homes, in a choice of three and four-bedroom styles.
The area surrounding the new homes has plenty to offer buyers. Shops and restaurants are around two miles away at Ventura Retail Park. Nearby Wilnecote train station offers links to Birmingham New Street and Nottingham. There are primary and secondary schools around a mile away. Dosthill Park Local Nature Reserve offers somewhere close to home to enjoy the outdoors and includes a children’s play area.
Elan’s new homes in Tamworth are currently being sold “off plan” via the homebuilder’s Seven Acres development in Elford ahead of the show home opening at Dosthill Gate from September 22.
