KEENLY AWAITED SHOW HOME OPENING IN KINVER

A CGI of new homes at The Hyde, Kinver, where Elan Homes is opening a show home by appointment only from November 14

THE wait is almost over for buyers keen to see inside new homes being built in Kinver.

Elan Homes has seen a flurry of sales at The Hyde in recent weeks and has a growing list of people who want to view a finished example of the homes before committing to buy.

This Saturday (November 14), Elan will open a two-bedroom Malham Special style show home, by appointment only, to give buyers an insight into the quality and finish they can expect in a brand new home.

Regional Sales Director Tracey Ball said: “In just four weeks we’ve sold five homes at The Hyde. These were the final homes that would be eligible for the Stamp Duty holiday. Demand is such that homes now available will be ready to move into from April. We also have people who’ve identified which home they want to buy and are waiting for it to be released for sale in line with our build programme. There are also those who’ve already booked an appointment to view the show home so they can appreciate the high specification we offer as standard.”

The Malham show home features a lounge to the front, with well-equipped open plan kitchen/ dining room to the rear. There’s also a handy cloakroom and useful store cupboard.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has an en-suite, effectively leaving the family bathroom to serve the other bedroom.

Current prices at The Hyde start from £335,000 for a three-bedroom Whitley.

Set out over three floors, the Whitley offers 949 sq ft of living space including, at ground level, an open plan kitchen and dining room with Juliet balcony, plus separate lounge with French doors leading to the rear garden and a cloakroom.  On the first floor are three bedrooms, one with en-suite, plus the family bathroom.

This home also features an integral garage, with a utility at lower ground level.

“One of the major advantages of buying a new home rather than one someone else has lived in before is that you can make it your own from the outset rather than inheriting the taste of the previous owner,” Tracey added.

“As a general rule, there’s time to make your specification choices before the roof has been fitted. At the moment there’s chance for someone buying a Whitley style home to choose their options including the finish of the kitchen, the colour of the tiles in the bathroom and to add optional upgrades.”

The thriving community of Kinver, a historic village with ancient timbered buildings on the banks of the River Stour, has a wealth of local amenities, which will benefit from the development by Elan Homes, thanks to their investment to provide a play area and improve local facilities.

With Birmingham and Kidderminster both within easy reach, The Hyde is a great base for commuters.
