OFF PLAN LAUNCH FOR NEW HOMES IN WOMBOURNE

NEW homes in the Staffordshire village of Wombourne will be released for sale “off plan” at the end of January, Elan Homes has confirmed.

The homebuilder is constructing 32 new homes across 2.59 acres of land on Giggetty Lane.

The land was previously home to O.J. Wootton Ltd and the development has been named Woottonbrook in honour of its former owners.

Woottonbrook is less than seven miles from Kinver, where Elan recently opened a show home.

Elan Regional Sales Director Tracey Ball said: “We’ve received a steady level of enquiries about Woottonbrook since we announced we’d acquired the site. In response to demand we’re releasing the first phase of homes ‘off plan’ via our nearby development, The Hyde in Kinver. The advantage of doing this is that buyers will be able to make an appointment to view the show homes there so that they can appreciate the quality and finish we offer across our developments. The sales team will also be able to guide them through the site and floor plans, helping match them with a home that best suits their needs.”

Adjacent to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, Woottonbrook will offer 22 private sale homes, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms, including two maisonettes specifically for those aged over 55.

The development will also feature 10 affordable homes, half of which will be two-bedroom properties available for social rent. The remaining two and three-bedroom homes will be available via shared ownership.

“Woottonbrook will be a real asset to the community, delivering the homes that local people want and need,” Tracey added.

“We’ll also be providing open space and woodland, plus making a £10,000 play area contribution.”

The homes at Woottonbrook will enjoy a best of both worlds location, close to the countryside, with a selection of independent shops in the village and easy access to Wolverhampton, which is just five miles away.
