WORCESTERSHIRE BUYERS SWOOP ON NEW HOMES

EAGER buyers keen to make their nest in the Worcestershire village of Abberley have made “early bird” reservations on new homes BEFORE they’re released for sale.

Dozens of potential purchasers had registered their interest in homes at Three Js, an Elan Homes development on Clows Top Road.

The first properties were released for sale “off plan”, by appointment only, last month, with a number of buyers taking early action to secure their ideal home.

Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball explained: “Three Js is an intimate development in a lovely village location and homes in the area are much sought-after. Our new homes have been well received and while it’s an intimate development there’s a good choice of two to five-bedroom properties, including a bungalow. The homes are released in line with the build programme, with the first properties due to be ready to move into this summer. Some people have been studying our site plans and identified exactly which home they want to live in later on in the development. We’ve given them the chance to make what are known as ‘early bird’ reservations, giving them first refusal when that home is released for sale.”

Homes now available to reserve include a three-bedroom detached Wythall, priced from £380,000.

There’s also the rare chance to purchase a brand new bungalow, with a two-bedroom Haywood style property available from £310,000.

Designed to maximise energy efficiency, the homes will boast a high specification as standard, with the assurance of a 10-year NHBC warranty. Plus, those who purchase their new home “off plan” will be able to select from a range of standard and upgrade options.

“Choice is what sets new build homes apart from older properties. Instead of having to make do with the previous owners’ décor and adapting it to your tastes over time, you start with a blank canvas,” Tracey added.

“As a general rule, if you reserve your new home before the roof is fitted, you will be able to embrace the fun of making it your own right from the start by choosing from a range of standard and upgrade options including the kitchen finish, bathroom tiles, wardrobes and flooring.”

The homes at three Js will enjoy a leafy setting, with 40% of the site being green open space, including a wildflower meadow, central community orchard and attenuation storage pond all within the development

As part of Elan’s commitment to sustainability and the environment, electric vehicle charging points will be provided, plus the development will include hedgehog highways – special gaps in fences so hedgehogs can explore.
