INSPIRED by their World Cup heroes youngsters from Castle Cary FC’s under-12s team are playing with style after receiving brand new kit sponsored by Clevedon-based developer Elan.
Elan – which has just launched sales of new three and four-bedroom homes at Weavers Field in Station Road, Castle Cary – was keen to support the local club based at Donald Pither Memorial Ground.
The under-12 team, which plays in , will look the part as they pass, shoot and score after benefitting from a red and black strip, along with a bright green goalkeepers’ kit, made by Yeovil-based Yellowbox Solutions.

In addition to the sponsorship, Elan has committed to funding a package of community investments in the local area totalling around £130,000 – including funding for a community hall, changing rooms, an equipped play area and a range of other local leisure facilities.
