Your Role:

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clear direction, motivation and training to the sales team to deliver the Company’s objectives
  • Plan, manage and deliver sales, marketing and PR strategies to agreed budgets
  • Responsible for regional marketing strategy and social media campaigns, working with external agencies
  • Assist the land team in securing new developments by advising on a saleable mix and achievable revenues and sales rates

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Sales staff training skills. Coaching skills, Performance Management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the housebuilding industry including selling, negotiation, PMA and sales contract law
  • Flexibility to cover large geographic area
  • 7 day a week availability
  • Strong understanding of marketing, social media and digital channels, with the ability to develop and implement initiatives that enhance brand awareness, generate leads and support sales growth

Essential duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Maintain control of revenues, sales rates and targets
  • Recruit, train, and performance manage sales staff
  • Produce reporting system for the management team to analyse sales rates and other relevant data
  • Delivery of high-quality Show homes and Marketing suites
  • Implementation of the agreed customer satisfaction procedure
  • Implementation of the agreed health and safety procedures with the sales team
  • Provide reports and opinions on any new land proposals
  • Overseeing sales progression from reservation to completion to meet business plan, monitoring key milestones, identifying any risks within the purchasing chain and strategies to overcome them
  • Attend regional management and board meetings and any other meetings as required

Supervisory and managerial responsibilities (yes or no and if yes, which roles?)

  • Sales team, including the sales executives on site
  • Recruitment, training and development of the team above
  • Marketing agencies, solicitors, interior designers, signage companies and estate agents etc
