FIRST time buyers looking for a home near Manchester are invited to a special event that could help them step onto the property ladder.
Elan Homes is building apartments and homes at Hazelfields in Poynton – around 30 minutes from Manchester city centre, including walking to the local station.
The homebuilder is hosting an event for first time buyers at the development on Hazelbadge Road over the weekend of July 12 and 13.
Elan regional sales and marketing director Marie Morris explained: “Buying your first home is a big move and there’s lot to think about including the location, type of property you want and need, to the size of the deposit you put down and the monthly mortgage repayments and energy bills. Having access to expert advice is crucial and our friendly, experienced sales team are happy to help throughout the buying journey. Independent financial advisors, with access to the entire mortgage market, will be on hand to explain the different mortgage products available and what the latest interest rates mean for buyers. We can also recommend solicitors who’ll manage the legal side of the purchase.”
Current availability includes ground floor apartments with parking. Prices start from £272,995 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £294,995 for a two-bedroom apartment.
Designed to maximise the potential of the space, they have open plan layouts with combined kitchen, lounge and dining room. French doors offer lots of natural light. Kitchens are well equipped, while bathrooms feature contemporary suites.
Elan is offering a 5% deposit contribution on the apartments. It’s worth up to £15,500 based on a two-bedroom Tintern style apartment, priced at £309,995.
“When it comes to location, our apartments in Poynton are a great alternative to their city centre counterparts. The shops, bars and restaurants of Manchester city centre are around 30 minutes away – including walking to Poynton station. It means you can enjoy all the benefits of urban living without the noise, crowds and congestion or having to worry about finding somewhere to park as the apartments have their own parking spaces. Plus, Manchester Airport is only a 10-minute drive away,” Marie added.
“Poynton itself features a mix of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants, plus a Waitrose. There are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in the surrounding area including Poynton Park, Lyme Park, Kerridge Hill Nature Reserve and the traffic-free greenway Middlewood Way, all of which are within easy reach.”
The show home at Hazelfields is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. The first time buyer event takes place over the weekend of July 12 and 13. For the latest availability and pricing see https://www.elan-homes.co.uk/developments/hazelfields.
