Are you a confident, customer-focused sales professional with a passion for new homes? Elan Homes – a leading, privately-owned housebuilder renowned for creating exceptional homes across the Midlands, North West, South West England, and North Wales – is seeking a Sales Executive to support the delivery of sales targets across our Northern developments.
In this key customer-facing role, you will be responsible for securing the sale of new homes, progressing customers through the buying journey, and achieving contract exchanges and legal completions in line with company targets. You will utilise a range of sales tools, promotions, and incentives while ensuring customers are fully informed and supported throughout the process.

Your Role:
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting with prospective purchasers, assessing their needs, and showcasing show homes, stock plots, and plans.
- Explaining the build process, layouts, specifications, and relevant building regulations in a clear and professional manner.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are strictly followed when visitors access sales areas and construction zones.
- Managing the full sales process from reservation through to legal completion.
- Liaising with solicitors, purchasers, mortgage advisors, and internal departments to ensure exchange of contracts deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining regular contact with purchasers and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Achieving individual and site sales targets set by the Company.
- Delivering excellent Mystery Shop results and maintaining high presentation standards.
- Carrying out plot inspections, customer demonstrations, and home handovers.
- Liaising with contract cleaners, carpet fitters, and other suppliers as required.
- Ensuring all sales administration and records are accurate and kept fully up to date.
- Undertaking competitor market research and remaining up to date with industry trends and changes.
- Attending internal meetings relating to sales performance and build progress.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent questioning, qualifying, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and selling abilities.
- Ability to build trust quickly with clients through honesty, openness, and professionalism.
- Interest in and understanding of the housebuilding process, including the ability to read and explain plans.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities with excellent timekeeping.
- Flexibility to travel and work weekends, bank holidays, and variable hours as required.
- First Aid and Fire Marshal qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
