The steps that we take to minimise these risks are as follows:-
Employees:
The Company has a Sexual Harassment Policy which sets out the standards of behaviour expected from all employees.
All employees are required to undertake mandatory sexual harassment prevention training to ensure they understand their responsibilities and the importance of maintaining a respectful working environment.
The Company promotes a working environment where inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated and employees are encouraged to raise any concerns.
Agency Workers:
We expect all agency workers engaged on behalf of the Company to conduct themselves in accordance with our standards of behaviour and our zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment.
Any concerns involving agency workers will be taken seriously and addressed with the relevant agency where appropriate.
Suppliers and Subcontractors:
We expect all suppliers and subcontractors working with the Company to adopt a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment and to ensure that their employees and operatives behave appropriately whilst working on our sites or on our behalf.
The Company's expectations regarding sexual harassment prevention will be communicated through our subcontractor terms and conditions and other appropriate channels.
Any reported incidents involving suppliers or subcontractors will be investigated as appropriate and may result in removal from site or termination of our working relationship.
Whistle Blowing:
The Company encourages all colleagues to report any sexual harassment they experience or witness, including harassment involving third parties.
Concerns can also be raised confidentially through the Company’s whistleblowing line which can be accessed via phone at 0800 069 8730 or online at ethicspoint.eu.
All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Breaches:
We will treat any breach of our Sexual Harassment Policy very seriously.
Any employee found to have breached the policy may face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct.
Any breach involving a supplier or subcontractor may result in appropriate action, including termination of our working relationship with them.
All reported concerns will be assessed and investigated where appropriate.
