Responsibilities:

• Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a positive health and safety culture onsite to ensure a safe working environment for all staff, tradespeople, and visitors.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the construction process to ensure every home is built to the specified design and standards with zero defects, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage construction budgets and control project costs without compromising on quality, health and safety, or customer service, ensuring that profit targets are achieved.
• Project Coordination: Ensure the delivery of quality homes according to the agreed project programs. Plan and coordinate all suppliers and trades to adhere to the critical path, identify slippage, and develop action plans to recover lost time.
• Strategic Execution: Work in alignment with site plans and strategies to execute projects in line with company objectives.
• Innovation and Best Practice: Implement industry best practices and innovations, collaborating with external bodies to develop safer, more efficient, and cost-effective construction methods.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with key external parties, including consultants and subcontractors, enhancing our network and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Safe Working Practices: Develop and enforce safe working practices to ensure a risk-free environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management (preferred) or at least an HNC in Construction.
• Certifications: SMSTS, appropriate CSCS card, and First Aid trained.
• Additional Skills: Scaffold Awareness/Inspection certification and a full UK driving license.
• Technical Proficiency: IT literate with proficiency in relevant construction management software.
