About Elan Homes:

Elan Homes Holdings is making waves in the housebuilding industry, constructing new homes across the Midlands, North-West, South-West England, and North Wales. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a confident and ambitious Site Manager to play a key role in our exciting journey.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Midlands Regional Head of Construction, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of one or more developments across the North Devon region, taking overall responsibility for ensuring sites are managed safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures and standards.

You will provide strong leadership, guidance and support to site teams, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all operatives, visitors and residents remain a key priority. You will drive performance across your developments, ensuring production programmes, quality standards and financial targets are achieved, while monitoring the performance and development of site-based teams. Working collaboratively across departments, you will ensure clear and effective communication throughout the business, coordinating with internal departments, contractors and trades to keep developments on programme and resolve issues proactively. You will also champion excellent customer service, ensuring site teams maintain high standards throughout the build and customer journey, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs and contribute to the continued profitability and success of the Company.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

• Previous experience in a Site Manager role within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of UK housebuilding processes.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills.
• Ability to manage programmes and construction deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable

• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS qualification.
• First Aid qualification.
• NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management or equivalent.
• Experience working for a major residential developer.
• Experience managing multiple plots and construction teams.
