FIRST time buyers are invited to take a fact finding mission by joining Elan Homes and a panel of experts at Hope Park Mews in Macclesfield, where the final phase is now available.
The niche developer is aiming to debunk some of the myths and mysteries about homeownership with a special event this weekend (May 26/27).
Independent financial advisors from RSC will be on hand to assess buyers’ finances, while Elan’s sales executives will be able to help match customers with their perfect property. There will also be opportunities to learn more about the Government-backed Help to Buy equity loan scheme as representatives from Help to Buy agent Plus Dane will be in attendance on Saturday.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Understanding mortgage rates and which mortgage product or lender is right for you can be confusing, particularly if you’re a first time buyer. We want to arm our customers with enough knowledge to empower them to be able to buy their first home. We’re offering a one-stop shop at Hope Park Mews with experts who can assess visitors’ finances and the level of deposit they would need to secure a home here; if they will pay Stamp Duty and explain how Help to Buy works and strip down the buying process to make it simple and straight forward.”
There are now just six homes available at Hope Park Mews, where prices start from £274,995 for a four-bedroom Avon style property.
The homes are Stamp Duty exempt for first time buyers and are eligible for Help to Buy, giving customers the chance to purchase with only a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.
For a limited time only and subject to plot, buyers could be in line for further savings as Elan is offering to include carpets and vinyl flooring, plus turf to rear garden and £1,000 towards legal fees.
“Hope Park Mews is an ideal choice for first time buyers who want the convenience of owning a brand new home in a location that blends town and country, with easy access to Manchester city centre. With just six homes now available time is running out and we’d urge aspiring homeowners to join us for the first time buyer event to learn how we can help them ease their way on to the property ladder and enjoy the excitement of buying their first home.”
