NEW films are shining a spotlight on a conversion project in Lichfield.
Once a pair of semi-detached homes, Lorne House has been given a new lease of life as six apartments.
They’re ideally placed, in a quiet location, just a short walk from Lichfield city centre.
While the apartments are available for viewing by appointment, Elan Homes has commissioned new videography to help inspire buyers.
Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball said: “Lorne House has had various uses over the years – most recently as a gym. We’ve worked with the existing structure and tried to maximise the potential of the building, creating bespoke designed apartments. Because they’re not a standard product – there are some quirky features including vaulted ceilings in the penthouse apartments – buyers are curious about the layouts of the apartments. We already had a video of apartment three, our show apartment, but now have footage of three other apartments – two unfurnished and one furnished. Buyers can watch them via the Elan website at their leisure, wherever and whenever they want, perhaps sharing the links with family and friends for their feedback. Then when they’re ready, they can make an appointment with the sales team to view in real life.”
Prices for the apartments range from £375,000 to £430,000. Each apartment benefits from two parking spaces and electric vehicle charging facilities.
The building has an audio/visual intercom system, offering added security and peace of mind to residents.
The upper floor apartments can be accessed via a lift or central staircase, making them easily accessible.
In apartments three and five, on one side of the building, there’s an open plan kitchen, dining and living room.
Apartments four and six, on the opposite side of the building, there’s a combined living and dining room. A Juliet balcony offers lots of natural light into the dining room. The dining room leads through to the kitchen, where there’s a feature window seat.
The main bedroom in every apartment has an en-suite, to complement the main bathroom.
“While parking and electric vehicle charging is provided at Lorne House, the location is ideal for those who perhaps don’t drive or want to reduce their reliance on a car,” Tracey added.
“Lichfield city centre’s stores, coffee shops, restaurants and entertainment venues such as The Garrick Theatre are all just a short walk away. Plus, Birmingham can be reached in around 45 minutes including walking to nearby Lichfield City station.”
