DOORS OPEN TO SHOW HOME AT POPULAR DEVON DEVELOPMENT

Elan Homes is set to unveil the new show home at the popular Pickards at Larkbear development in Devon, as it celebrates its spectacular success.

The Dunham show home will open its doors to customers from June 25, offering a first look at the new lifestyle available to home buyers in Barnstaple.

It follows amazing sales success which has seen every home the developer has released already reserved, and early bird reservations made on homes in the next phase.

Tracey Ball, Elan Regional Sales Director, says: “The success of Pickards at Larkbear has been incredible, even in the current market where demand for properties is almost unprecedented.

“We have seen all the homes we have released so far being snapped up within weeks – and even days – and first refusal early bird reservations being made on all 11 of those due to be released next.

“To say we are thrilled is an understatement. It really is remarkable, although not difficult to understand why. The development combines an idyllic location with superb, high specification homes.”

And Tracey says it’s not too late for buyers to set their sights on a home there.

“The opening of the show home is a perfect time for customers to come along and see the superior standard and styles of our homes, and what it might be like to live in one.

“Homes are released in line with the build programme and while those released so far have been taken, those thinking of buying a new home in 2022 really do need to start planning now.”

The 57 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes being built at Pickards at Larkbear are  part of a new, wider neighbourhood being created off Old Torrington Road.

The Dunham show home is an outstanding three-storey, five-bedroom property offering perfect accommodation for families and those wanting more flexible living.

A spacious hallway greets visitors on the ground floor, off which is the fully-fitted kitchen. There’s a separate lounge and dining area at the rear of the property and the all-essential cloakroom.

On the first floor are three generously-sized bedrooms, the main benefiting from an en-suite, and a family bathroom; and on the second floor are two further bedrooms and a shower room – although these could create the increasingly-important home gym or office.

Pickards at Larkbear is close to the A361 and Barnstaple train station. The wider new community Elan’s homes are a part of, will include a new primary school, a local centre with potential uses including a small shop, surgery, pharmacy and community hall; and there will be acres of open space and woodland, plus cycle paths and other facilities.
