FROM PITCH TO PERFECT PROPERTY – SHOW HOME OPENING IN WOODLEY

BUYERS are set to be bowled over by a new show home in Woodley opening on Saturday (January 24).

Six eager buyers have already stepped up to the wicket and reserved new homes at  St Marks Pavilion off plan.

The intimate Elan Homes development of just 24 homes is taking shape on the former site of Bredbury St Marks Cricket Club on Hillside Road.

It’s not just the name of the development that’s giving a nod to the site’s history. Elan briefed an expert team of interior designers to include some sporting themes when styling the four-bedroom detached Bunbury Special show home.

Elan regional sales and marketing director Marie Morris said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to the off plan launch of our new homes in Woodley. The development has been keenly awaited with people studying the site and floor plans to identify exactly which home they want to buy. A quarter of the homes have been reserved off plan and we have dozens more people eager to view the show home before making a commitment. We’re now inviting anyone looking for a new home in this part of Stockport to step up to the wicket and view. We’re confident they’ll be bowled over by the spaciousness, quality and finish of the show home, along with the styling. It’s a true all rounder with broad appeal and must see.”

The Bunbury Special has great kerb appeal, with decorative brickwork and gable cladding above the entrance.

While externally it looks very traditional, it offers 1,298 sq ft of living space designed with today’s families in mind.

The dual aspect spacious lounge, stretching from the front to the rear of the home, providing a peaceful space to relax in.

On the opposite side of the hallway is a generous open plan kitchen, family and dining room, with French doors opening from this sociable space onto the garden. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are two good-sized bedrooms including main bedroom with en-suite. There are two further bedrooms at the rear, with the family bathroom positioned between them.

The site being developed by Elan was home to Bredbury St Marks Cricket Club for more than a century, before it moved to a new, larger ground with modern facilities.

Just 24 private sale homes in a choice of four and five-bedroom designs are being built at St Marks Pavilion, with electric vehicle charging facilities for all homes.

Current prices are from £489,995 for a four-bedroom semi-detached Palmerston.

Elan will consider part exchange to help those with a house to sell.

“Because of the intimate nature of St Marks Pavilion some people are already concerned that they may miss out on moving here because they need to find a buyer for their current property,” Marie added.

“Part exchange offers a speedy solution to climbing the housing ladder. In simple terms, subject to terms and conditions, we act as a guaranteed cash buyer for the customer’s property so they can buy a new home from us. There’re no chain delays to hold them back or last-minute haggles over price. With a small number of homes build complete, buyers could move as soon as the legalities are complete – which could be in a matter of weeks. Alternatively, EasyMove has no link to the properties being sold or bought and is ideal for downsizers. We’ll instruct a respected agent to sell the customer’s home, monitor their progress and even pay their fees.”

Subject to build stage, buyers will be able to make their home their own from the start by selecting from a range of options and upgrades. This includes choosing the finish of the kitchen, bathroom tiles, wardrobes and flooring.

The show home at St Marks Pavilion opens on Saturday, January 24.
