ELAN TEES UP NEW SITE FOR HOMES IN TETTENHALL

ELAN Homes is preparing to swing into action and start work on an exclusive new homes development in Tettenhall.

The homebuilder has acquired a 0.8 acre parcel of land on Popes Lane, adjoining Wergs Golf Course.

The site benefits from full planning consent for six new homes, with work on the properties due to start imminently.

Homes at the development, known as Vardons Keep, will be available to reserve this summer.

Tracey Ball, sales director for Elan Homes in the Midlands, said: “Elan has a reputation for taking a flexible approach to the sites it acquires in order to provide the homes needed to keep the housing market moving. The Tettenhall site is a prime example of how we’re giving a former storage facility a new lease of life as an intimate development of premium quality homes.

“The homes will enjoy an enviable location, close to Wergs Golf Course with views over the landscape grounds. It’s an ideal location for golfers as South Staffordshire Golf Club is nearby too. Helping keep the history of the area alive, we’ve named the development Vardons Keep in honour of Harry Vardon, who won The Open Championship a record six times and designed the South Staffordshire Course.”

Along with potential for stunning views, the homes at Vardons Keep will enjoy easy access to Tettenhall and Codsall Village Centres. Junction three of the M54 is around four miles away, plus there are mainline railway stations at Codsall and Wolverhampton.
