Amazing Offers

Nestled in the charming village of Loggerheads, close to the Shropshire and Cheshire borders, Brook Meadow offers a superb choice of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes set in a truly stunning location with open fields and woodland stretching out in all directions.

Loggerheads was once famed for its fresh clean air due to it sitting high above the damp air of the lowlands and the soot and smoke that used to blow over from the Potteries. Today it is still said the climate is quite special being different from that on the plains around the village.

Each home has been built to Elan's exacting standards to give you and your family the very best in modern day living.

What's in the local area

Brook Meadow is set in a wonderful rural area so you’d be forgiven for thinking it might be a little secluded; but being close to the bustling towns of Market Drayton and Newcastle-under-Lyme you’re never more than 20 minutes away from the amenities you need. The A53 runs through the village connecting to the M6 in under 10 miles, whilst regular bus services make travelling to school or to the shops very easy. The nearest train station is Norton Bridge approximately 12 miles away from where you can connect to London in under 2 hours.

For a small village Loggerheads has a strong sense of community providing everything from Scouts and Guides to sports and leisure. Nearby Market Drayton has even more to offer with the hugely popular Festival Drayton Centre offering a full programme of films and live shows throughout the year. There are plenty of local bars and restaurants to choose from plus the town is home to Market Drayton Golf Club as well as a swimming pool and fitness centre.

As part of its commitment to the community, Elan will be contributing a quarter of a million pounds to local schools including St Mary’s Primary in nearby Mucklestone and Madeley High School a short bus ride away, both schools rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.

Loggerheads is home to Hugo Meynell C of E Primary rated ‘good with outstanding features’, whilst Market Drayton houses an alternative for older pupils with the Grove School and College.

At the heart of the village is a Co-op and post office but residents also have a choice of old and new within easy reach.

Market Drayton has held a Wednesday street market for over 750 years where you can buy everything from clothes, electrical items to fresh fruit and vegetables.

The town has a wealth of charming independent stores in the half-timbered red brick buildings that line the historic streets and alleys. In nearby Newcastle-under-Lyme just 10 miles away, you’ll find the modern Roebuck Shopping Centre with high street favourites and a multi-screen cinema.

“We fell in love with the four-bedroom Bunbury as it really is beautiful. There’s a lot more space than we were used to with a lovely open plan kitchen and family room. It made us decide it had to be our new home. Everything is finished off really nicely.

Emma & Mark

"We chose Elan for the location and the value for money. Living here feels like we’re on holiday, with the endless fields and open countryside. We can walk into South Molton and shop locally, rather than drive to large out of town supermarkets."

Richard & Cinta

“Elan pulled out all the stops, I would definitely recommend Elan Homes. They ticked all the right boxes - we’ve had five star treatment from all of the staff.”

Paul & Margaret

“We didn’t want to miss out while we tried to sell our old home and with Part Exchange we didn’t have to. It gave us peace of mind and meant that we didn’t have to worry about getting caught up in a chain that could delay our move.”

Jane & David

“Elan build really solid homes and the four-bedroom Southwold was perfect for us, it’s our forever home. The bedrooms are all a good size so as the children grow older and want to spend more time in their bedrooms; they’ll have lots of space.”

Hannah & James
