HOMEOWNERS OFFERED CHANCE TO MAKE A QUICK MOVE ACROSS THE NORTH WEST

EVENTS are being held across the North West to help homeowners climb the housing ladder – with the chance to move in a matter of weeks.

Elan Homes is offering part exchange on selected new homes and is hosting events across the region over the weekends of September 5-6 and September 19-20 to guide buyers through the scheme.

There’s even the chance to move to an energy efficient new home before the colder, darker nights set in.

Elan regional sales and marketing director Marie Morris said: “Timing is everything when it comes to buying and selling property. There’s often a back to school boom in the housing market, with people listing post-holiday and keen to move before temperatures start to drop and be settled in for the festive season. The reality for many is that they could still be months away from moving if they sell the traditional way via an agent. It’s likely to be weeks before they receive an acceptable offer and then it could be around 100 days until they exchange contracts.

• Hazelfields, Poynton, offering diverse range of properties from one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, priced from £249,995, to family homes in a choice of three, four and five-bedroom designs, priced from £499,995.
• Oak Grange, Congleton, where three, four and five-bedroom homes are available from £334,995.
• Redwood Gardens, Marton Moss, between Blackpool and Lytham, includes three and four-bedroom detached homes priced from £249,995.
• St Marks Pavilion, Woodley, featuring four and five-bedroom executive family homes, priced from £549,995
• Tower Gardens, Darwen, offers a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £209,995.

With part exchange, Elan will effectively act as a guaranteed cash buyer for the customer’s home. There are no last minute haggles over the price, no complicated chains to delay moving or worse a chain that breaks, and no agent’s fees to pay. Homeowners will even be able to continue living in their existing property until their new home is ready.

Alternatively, EasyMove sees the homebuilder work with a respected agent to sell the customer’s property on the open market, with Elan paying the agent’s fees.
