DEPOSIT HELP TO SUPPORT HOMEBUYERS IN TYLDESLEY

OWNING an apartment in Tyldesley could be easier to afford, thanks to a deposit boost from Elan Homes.

The incentive, worth £10,000, is being offered to help would-be homeowners overcome the challenges of the cost of living.

It’s available on selected apartments at Garrett Hall Fields in the Mosley Common area and is designed to help buyers’ money go further.

Elan regional sales and marketing director Marie Morris explained: “Saving for a deposit to buy a home of your own can be tricky, particularly for those who are renting. To support buyers, we’re offering a deposit boost worth £10,000 on selected new apartments in Tyldesley. This valuable assistance could mean they’re able to buy sooner than they would otherwise as it should give them access more favourable interest rates, usually reserved for those with larger deposits. This should then mean lower monthly repayments. Alternatively, they may find that the deposit boost frees up some of their savings to be used to style and furnish their new apartment rather than making do with their existing furniture or that handed down my family or friends.”

Current prices at Garrett Hall Fields start from £229,995 for a two-bedroom first floor Wareham style apartment, available with a £10,000 deposit boost.

It offers 664 sq ft of accommodation, carefully designed to make the most of the space available. There’s a combined lounge, kitchen and dining room, plus two bedrooms and a bathroom.

It benefits from flooring throughout, plus upgraded kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, making it ideal for a first time buyer or someone starting over after a change of circumstances.

There’s also a dedicated parking space, plus an EV charging point.

For those looking for a larger, family-sized home, Elan has four and five-bedroom detached designs available, priced from £589,995. The homebuilder will consider taking a buyer’s existing property in part exchange for one of these homes. Alternatively, Elan may cover the cost of Stamp Duty.

Close to the A580 East Lancashire Road, location has drawn buyers to Elan’s new homes in Tyldesley. The cities of Manchester and Liverpool are both within a short drive, making it a great base for commuters.

Public transport links into Manchester include the V1 or V2 bus, train via nearby Walkden, with plans for the Metrolink to expand to offer another option. Current journey times at peak times are around 40 minutes including driving to Walkden station and then taking the train. Alternatively, take a short walk to the Guided Busway and pick up the V1 or V2 for a 45-minute bus ride to the city centre.

The area is served by a number of well-regarded schools, plus there are local shops and restaurants, while nearby Astley Street Park features a play area and outdoor gym.

The sales centre and show home at Garrett Hall Fields are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
