BREAKING THE BARRIERS TO MOVING TO A NEW HOME IN BEWDLEY

HOMEOWNERS are invited to discover how they could fast-forward plans to move to a new home in Worcestershire with help from Elan Homes.

The homebuilder is hosting a part exchange event at its Sandbourne Gardens development over the weekend of July 11 and 12.

It will be a chance for visitors to view the show home, learn about the properties available and discover more about the move-making help available including part exchange or EasyMove.

Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball said: “Bewdley is somewhere people aspire to live and our new homes are perfectly placed to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Often when people first visit Sandbourne Gardens they’re simply curious about the homes and perhaps think moving here is a pipedream, particularly if they have a house to sell. The uncertainty and potential stress linked to selling is often cited as one of the biggest barriers to moving, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

“We’re hosting a part exchange weekend to explain how instead of pausing your dream move while you try and sell a property that no longer fits your needs you can fast-forward your plans and move in a matter of weeks rather than months.”

With part exchange, Elan will effectively act as a guaranteed cash buyer for the customer’s home. There are no last minute haggles over the price, no complicated chains to delay moving or worse a chain that breaks, and no agent’s fees to pay. Homeowners will even be able to continue living in their existing property until their new home is ready.

Alternatively, EasyMove sees the homebuilder work with a respected agent to sell the customer’s property on the open market, with Elan paying the agent’s fees.

“Part exchange is ideal for homeowners eager to climb the property ladder. Those who act now may even find they’re able to move over the summer and be settled in before school starts in September,” Tracey added.

“Other buyers could find that EasyMove offers just that. As there’s no link between the properties being bought or sold it’s a convenient solution for downsizers.”

Sandbourne Gardens, located on Stourport Road, offers a good choice of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. Current prices range from £299,995 to £749,995.

There are three property types available to view – a professionally styled four-bedroom detached Blenheim style show home, plus finished examples of the three-bedroom detached Finham Special and two-bedroom Hayward Special bungalow.

The Bewdley School and Bewdley Primary School are close by, making it a great option for families.

A range of amenities including cafes, restaurants and independent shops are within a short walk.

It’s commutable to Worcester in around 30 minutes or to Birmingham in less than an hour by road or rail via nearby Kidderminster station.

The show home at Sandbourne Gardens is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm with the part exchange event taking place over the weekend of July 11 and 12.
